Sharlene began her career at her alma mater, the University of California, Riverside, over 10 years ago. She started as a student employee at Transportation Services and then transitioned to several full-time positions within the same department over the next few years. Upon returning as UCR’s Event Parking Manager, she prioritized improving the customer experience and growing the business. This past fiscal year, her team supported over 800 events, a 40% growth since 2022. Outside the office, Sharlene enjoys audiobooks, tacos, and collecting postcards.
